BOSWELLIA SERRATA – natural support for the joints
The resin of Boswellia serrata (Indian frankincense) is rich in boswellic acid, which was used as far back as ancient times to relieve inflammatory symptoms. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory effect, it is able to inhibit an enzyme called 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX), which plays a role in the production of molecules that trigger inflammatory processes.1-3
NEW ZEALAND GREEN-LIPPED MUSSEL – musculoskeletal support from the sea
Green-lipped mussels have traditionally played an important role in the diet of New Zealand’s indigenous Maori people. Studies suggest that consuming these mussels may contribute to a lower incidence of musculoskeletal disorders. Zealoxan® is a food supplement in the form of film-coated tablets containing vitamins, minerals and other substances.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation and thereby to the maintenance of normal bones and cartilage, as well as to the normal function of cartilage.
Vitamin D3, phosphorus and manganese contribute to, while calcium is needed for, the maintenance of healthy bones. Manganese also contributes to normal connective tissue formation.
Vitamin D3 and calcium contribute to the maintenance of healthy muscle function. Vitamin D3 also contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.
